Thought to be extinct in the wild, the Panamanian Golden Frog is one of the most critically endangered species of toad in the world, and possibly the most handsome! They live near streams in the cloud forests of Panama and are bright yellowish-gold in color as their name suggests. These gay little toads communicate with an elegant wave of their hand to signal to potential mates as well as warn predators of their toxicity.
